Now that we have begun our normal routine (I wonder what is normal as a priest), I thought I would give you a preview of some activities that lie ahead.
Faith Formation (CCD) has started off well and classes are full. I see more parents are conscious that they and their children need more of God in their lives. We cannot be ignorant or put God aside. If anything, we must walk at the side of Jesus. We will be having special Children's Masses throughout the year. Soon we begin Advent, preparation for the Christmas Giving Tree, our English and Spanish Christmas Pageants, Christmas and then New Year.
We are also preparing for the "Alive in Christ" campaign which should be toward the beginning of December. More information will be available via the bulletin and our website.
I must praise you for the way you are praying in church with your singing voices. Our audiovisual system is a great help, but we really need more choir members. Please see Jon our Music Director.
Remember we have more disabled parking spaces now. They are not to be used by mistake when you are "visually disabled".
Again, I want to thank all who are giving of their time, treasure, and talent for our parish. We have good people who are trying to be "gooder" each day through prayer and good works! Pray the Rosary, especially during the month of October.
In Christ,
Fr. Alex Dalpiaz
